Gainsborough Waste, Texas Outhouse, and Luxury Event Trailers are proud supporters of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (HLSR).
After a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Houston Rodeo was back in full force at NRG Park in February and March 2022. As one of Houston’s signature events on the calendar, we appreciated the opportunity to service the 2022 Houston Rodeo.
This year, we collaborated with InsGroup to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests, participants, students, vendors, volunteers, and staff. We provided portable toilets, luxury trailers, and other event services to meet the needs of thousands of attendees each day.
2022 Houston Rodeo Stats
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo organizers released some amazing statistics about attendance during this year’s event.
- Total attendance for this year’s Rodeo events was nearly 2.5 million people.
- The World Championship BBQ contest that kicked off this year’s festivities in February attracted nearly 160,000 guests by itself.
- Approximately 67,000 people were on-site as part of a school tour or field trip.
- The livestock and horse show competitions attracted nearly 35,000 entries.
We appreciated the opportunity to do our part supporting everyone that was on-site throughout the month-long celebration of Houston’s Western heritage.
